Le Mas de la Rose is the ideal base from which to explore the Alpilles mountains during your stay.  Located near the village of Eygalières and Saint Rémy de Provence, you can soak up the quaint, picturesque atmosphere of these villages, before setting off on a walk along one of the many trails that criss-cross the Alpilles regional nature reserve.  The most famous trail - the "stroll among olive trees"- , will take you through many olive farms and  mills; the local producers will be delighted to welcome you and show you around their farms and production facilities.
